Biography
LeVon Terry is a strategic finance leader with more than 20 years of experience helping founders accelerate growth and build shareholder value. He founded Capfluent, a boutique advisory practice that partners with overlooked, growth-minded entrepreneurs to scale with clarity, access capital, and maximize equity outcomes. Through Capfluent's Grow practice, LeVon also serves founder-led companies as their fractional CFO.
Before launching Capfluent, LeVon served as Director of Finance and Portfolio Strategy at a private equity firm. He previously held roles in fintech, investment banking, and institutional asset management, including time at a Silicon Valley startup, a global investment bank, and a public markets investment firm. Across his career he has advised early-stage and growth-stage companies on capital formation, strategic finance, financial modeling, investor communications, and go-to-market operations. Today LeVon also serves as part-time CFO for several founder-led companies.
That path means LeVon spent most of his career on the investor side of the table. He knows how a lender or investor reads a set of numbers long before a founder walks into the room, and he brings that institutional rigor to founder-led companies the market tends to overlook. His approach pairs Wall Street rigor with founder empathy: real judgment from someone who sees the person, not just the spreadsheet.
LeVon holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Dayton and lives in Denver, Colorado. He serves as a 2026 Colorado Companies to Watch judge, has been featured in Cannabis Business Times and an Ellen Bruss Design Q&A, and spoke at the Minority Cannabis Business Association Equity Workshop Tour in Denver.
